Continuous oil pipe blowout preventer

Continuous tubing blowout preventer is an important well control equipment in the process of continuous tubing operation. Its main function is to seal the annular space between the continuous tubing and the wellhead to prevent blowout accidents.

From top to bottom, fully sealed, cut, slip, semi sealed.

Each gate has a single function.

There is a side opening that allows for directional spraying.

Half sealed and fully sealed are equipped with balance valves to prevent damage to equipment caused by pressure opening.

Usually used in conjunction with a spray box.
