1、 Circular anti spray device
The annular blowout preventer is named after the circular shape of the rubber core used as a sealing component. Also known as universal spray preventer, multi effect spray preventer, or spherical spray preventer.
According to the different shapes of the rubber core, it can be divided into conical annular preventers, spherical annular preventers, and cylindrical annular preventers.
Function of annular spray preventer
1) If there is a pipe string in the wellbore, a rubber core can be used to seal the annular space formed between the pipe string and the wellhead.
2) When the wellbore is emptied, the wellhead can be completely sealed.
3) When overflow or blowout occurs during drilling, milling, casing grinding, logging, and salvaging of downhole debris, the space formed by the square drill pipe, cable, wire rope, accident handling tool, and wellhead can be sealed.
4) With the help of a pressure regulator or a small energy storage device, the seamless 18 degree butt welded pipe column joint can be forced up and down.
5) Used in conjunction with gate blowout preventer and throttling manifold to achieve soft shut in in case of severe overflow or blowout.
2、 Gate valve blowout preventer
The reason why the gate blowout preventer is called a gate blowout preventer is because it uses hydraulic pressure to push the sealing components (two gate plates with rubber cores) from left to right towards the center of the wellbore, thereby sealing the wellhead.
According to the different numbers of gate valves, they can be divided into single gate preventers, double gate preventers, and triple gate preventers.
According to the function of the gate, it can be divided into fully sealed gate blowout preventer, semi sealed gate blowout preventer, shear gate blowout preventer, variable diameter gate blowout preventer, etc.
According to the locking method, it can be divided into manual lock brake preventer and hydraulic lock brake preventer.
According to the opening and closing mode of the side door, it can be divided into a rotating side door gate anti spray device and a linear motion side door gate anti spray device.
Function of gate blowout preventer
1) If there are drilling tools in the wellbore, a semi closed gate corresponding to the size of the drilling tools can be used to seal the annular space at the wellhead.
2) If there are no drilling tools in the wellbore, a fully sealed gate can completely seal the wellhead.
3) If it is necessary to cut the drilling tools inside the wellbore to completely seal the wellhead, a shear gate can be used to cut the drilling tools inside the wellbore to completely seal the wellhead.
4) Some gate valves of blowout preventers are load-bearing and can be used to suspend drilling tools.
5) The casing of the gate blowout preventer has side holes that can be used to release constraints and pressure.
6) The gate blowout preventer can seal the oil well for a long time.
