Basic definition and function of continuous tubing blowout preventer!

The continuous oil pipe blowout preventer group consists of a blowout box and a four gate blowout preventer, installed at the wellhead of the continuous oil pipe operation vehicle, mainly used for:

Seal the continuous tubing and wellhead annulus to isolate high-pressure fluids inside the well;

Control abnormal pressure (such as overflow and blowout) to achieve safe well shutdown;

Cut off the oil pipe and fully seal the wellhead in emergency situations.
